Very cool idea-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XMdaR4Hp50
Think multi colored braided rag rug. Cut bags into strips. Knot three strips together. Braid. As you near the end of the strip, feed in another strip by laying it on the strip you are braiding. You will want to stagger the new strips so you don’t have them all in the same part of your braid, creating a stronger braid. Depending on the shape rug you desire, begin rolling the braid. You can use thin strips of bags or twine or yarn for this next part. as you shape you will want to take a small crochet hook and pull the thin strip/tar or twine through the inner braid and the through the closest part of the outer braid that is right next to the inner braid. You can knot the beginning of the strip/yarn/twine together at the beginnin and as needed to bind the braid together as you make your rug. Easy peasy! Caution to pet owners- make sure you don’t have a chewer living in your home. Plastic is bad for your pet if they eat it.
Thanks
im not sure if Canada does this...our plastic grocer bags have a corn starch base mixed with the plastic pollymers. The bags break and shred, decompose.
