try vinegar and baking soda with a bit of dawn.
Try Spot Shot. If that doesn't get it out, nothing will. Or, try an oxygenated powder like OxyClean or Awesome Orange (my favorite) mixed with water and wipe in with an old t-shirt. I use this powder in my carpet cleaner instead of the shampoo that comes with it. I mix it with water and pour it into the canister.
I have used vinegar and warm water. Spot Shot is also very good, but you have to be careful as it can ruin some carpets. Its happened to me.
I was told by a friend to use hydrogen peroxide, but haven’t used it yet. I use Oxy Clean to get the yellow out and then blot it out With old towels.
Try shaving cream. Brush the shaving cream into the carpet and then blot with damp towel. Let dry and vacuum.
I use hydrogen peroxide full strength on the stain. Put paper towels on it and weight them down with a heavy item. This has always worked for me and I have 8 cats.
Pour white vinegar on carpet to soak stain. then sprinkle baking soda on top. Cover with plate upside down leave for 1-2 days then vacuum up
All of the above ideas should work. The Hot Shot suggestion may not in the long term tho. When I used it the stain eventually returned and I then used the vinegar and baking soda (several times) and it finally did come out for good. Good luck!
We always used cornstarch. Wet the area with a little water than generousply poor cornstarch on it. Leave it until dried completely and then vacuum.
BlluE Coral Upholstery cleaner . This is sold iat Walmart or any car part places. This has really worked well in our wool rugs.
All right! I've tried so many stain removers it isn't even funny anymore. But, here is what I found that works; Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor Remover! Honestly, In can't believe it works, but it does . Even pet stains. Thank God I found it. It is soooo good.
The best thing I 've use is Nature's Miracle. it not only removes pet stains it also removes the odor. Fanstastic stuff. It's all I use now
Use Nature's Miracle. It is amazing! You just pour it on the stain, wait a few minutes and then blot the stain with a clean cloth. All gone. No fuss. No muss. Can't beat it. You can buy it at any pet store.
we always used cornmeal to absorb the wet spot if it is right away, but if already dry, wash with baking soda water before using the cornmeal--then vacuum after it is dry
friends have done this with very old stains and they did just wet and then put cornmeal on to absorb and after vacuuming when dry,it does not even leave a ring.
Yep! I can testify to this. Helen M. Harrington.
I use Dollar Tree Homestore Foam Carpet Cleaner and a soft carpet brush, gets it out everytime for my client's pet accidents and my kitty.
Do not use chemicals! 1 tsp dawn, 3-4 tbsp peroxide, 2 tbsp baking soda
scrub with toothbrush until StaiN Is gone.
Use 1/4 cup of white vinegar, 1 tbsp. of Dawn dish soap, and fill with water. Spray area liberally and let soak for 5-10 minutes and then proceed with blotting with a clean, dry towel until stain is removed. Some carpet stain removal products can be of great benefit for combating many types of carpet stains.
