Is there another pomegranate tree nearby? That might be (beeš) the problem!!! Most fruit bearing trees need another to pollinate. Does your tree flower now? If not, it may not be mature enough to bear fruit. Consider another Pom tree-we had them falling off the tree!
First, you don't want to fertilize pomegranates during their first year when you initially plant the tree. It is best to let them settle in so to speak. It is best to mulch them with 2 year old or older animal manure and other types of compost. For the second year, apply nitrogen or save your grass clippings which are great for nitrogen mulch.
