    Don’t do it. If you have it, get rid of it. If you insist, keep it very simple. Watch videos and ask experts—at the paint stores and departments. ☺️

    Not sure what you are planning. Do you want to texture, remove texture? Generally, these days textured ceilings are no longer the norm and will make your home appear dated.

      I have removed popcorn and then smoothed the ceiling with a sandinig block on an extension type stick and then painted but never done the texture after remvoing the popcorn.

      Some texture might be cool and add a bit of interest. Afterall, it is your home and you get to choose the finishes! Hope this helps.....it is a LOT of work but I began to Detest that Popcorn!! :) Probably just as you are with yours about now! :) Happy D-I-Y-ing

    My sister did my kitchen ceiling with spackling she put about 3 foot by 3 foot and took a trowel and just spread it around to make a pattern
