You say you need it for feed, so I gather you are running animals on it. Be careful what you put on the field that it doesn't hurt the animals. Yes - contact your County Agricultural Extension office they can tell you the best thing to do.
I have - they have no real answer other than trying all the different herbicides for broadleaf weeds - which we have done and have not found any that have a great result!
