Chances are, yes. But it spends upon the seed from which the lemons originated. See if this helps.

Hey Kay. I to thought good to grow citrus from seed, but really want fruit sometime soon. Looked into and would be years before eatable fruit and only if self-pollinating plant. Best bet, buy tree at Nursery and watch you're seedling grow.
It likely would take years (if ever) to produce fruit, but it's still fun to grow.

If the lemon you took the seeds from were grafted and a hybrid, you may not get the same lemon, it may go back to whatever the graft was placed on.
Horticulturist here.... Most lemon and orange trees are hybrids grafted onto sour orange root stock. That's because the root stock is very tolerant of different soil types and conditions as well as pests. Therefore, any fruit produced is a product of the hybrid graft but the seeds of the fruit revert to the rootstock origins. Yes you may eventually get fruit but it will not be the hybrid fruit but the origin of the rootstock. If you like the ornamental look, keep the tree. If you want fruit, purchase a tree from a reputable nursery (one that you like the fruit such as a Meyer's lemon, for example). I hope this helps.
