I would check on Thompson's wood seal. I believe it can be sprayed.

thompsons wont last even one season...crap...Sikkens Proluxe it the best I've EVER found..comes in different shades and is sooooo good.. took me a while and lots of different preservatives to learn but now have a life time goto ..... sprays easy and smooth..good luck
