Closet to shelves!!!

I am wanting to change the double closet in an old bedroom to bookshelves in the now office. Would like to remove the double doors as well.
Painting the walls dark blue. With white trim.

    First clean everything out then paint your walls & trim. Measure your space and decide the size of the shelves. Install brackets to hold the shelves making sure they are on a stud, then fit & attach the shelves to the brackets. Paint, stain and/or seal the shelves before attaching to the brackets.     Don't do anything that is permanent, if and when you want to sell, you need a closet for the bedroom to be considered a bedroom. It has to have a closet and window.

    just add batons on both sides of cabinet and place suitable sized timber shelf in place. repeat as often as required.

    That seems easy enough. Removing the doors painting white and adding some time to the front edges of shelving built with 1x and supports seems like the best plan.
