bleach and keep it mold free by bleaching it every few weeks. Also, dry the spot each time you use it.

What plant are you needing help with?
If they have been there in the same spot for a while, they may be overcrowded and need to separate them so they have more room. Sometimes if they are overcrowded they will not bloom.
