We can’t take out the metal part of the sliding glass door. Any suggestions

Most come out by lifting and then tilting out while lifted. If the doesn't work, contact the manufacturer for assistance.
It sounds like prior owner glued the metal frame in place. If that's the case, try heating the frame with a heat gun and then use a pry bar to GENTLY pry the metal frame off. Warning: Only point the heat gun on the metal side, not the wood side. You might have to repeat this process several times. Just be patient.
