Cats don't like the smell of citrus, so place lemon and lime rinds around to keep them away.
I shred Irish Spring original green soap and sprinkle it in my flower beds. Most animals dislike the strong scent. You will need to reapply after heavy rains or around every 3 weeks. It's a cheap, non-toxic fix. Hope this solves your problem.
You could put moth balls all over they don't like them and every so often replace them
