Problem on my Topiary
I have two topiary's that have this on them . What is it and how do I get rid of it? Any advice will be helpful TY
That could be difficult since the beads are raised much bigger than base of your stand. You may just need to get a glass top thay fits over the work your done. I did hope someone ese had a better answer for you dear good luck and keep being crafty
I would cover everything with a couple coats of polyurethane.
Love this! I thonk that Rustoleum makes a spray paint for stuff like this.
Nice job! Look for a clear grout sealer at the big box. Or just use polyurethane
Hi Patricia. I would spray it with a clear coat. Very nice job!
I'm with Melanie. Rustoleum, that is my go to, and they make a gloss clear coat that you can use to seal so that things stay shiny. Otherwise, just seal the grout very, very well. You really shouldn't need to do anything to keep the glass beads shiny, unless the surface will get scratched up. I did a similar table that gets used a lot and my grout has not discolored at all just with sealing it, cleaning it well when things get spilled.
I wasn't sure what the poly would do to the grout? But if I can not find spray sealer I will try that. Thank you
I am not sure what poly you are referring to but do not use a polyurethane. It will yellow the grout. I have found that spray sealants sometime leave a frosty look on clear items. I would suggest Polycrylic. It doesn't have a tint, dries fast and is water based but protectant and it looks better when brushed on or rolled. You can get a mini can for a few dollars at walmart. Hope this helped.
yes, I thought all those things would happen!!! THANK YOU so much I will go and get that tonight after work!
An Epoxy Resin would work nicely.....
