Gold fish or other carp. the other way is to remove what skeeters need to breed and grow in. They breed in standing water...ponds, the bottoms of self watering container, good sized mud puddle. It doesn’t take much water for them to breed. You can get mosquito bits..a granular product plant safe for the pots or standing water. Small ponds or fountains got a “dunk” essentialy the same product compressed. These have a slight citronella scent.
I put s bit of dishwashing liquid in standing water and it helped me
