Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
sorry to say, you’re going to have to rake back the gravel, put down some bought or homemade killer, and put down good quality (so it really lasts) landscape fabric. Get permeable The paper-thin cheap stuff falls apart. and you want water to flow thru rather than ponding.
The treatment you used a year ago is not a permanent fix. You'll need to redo the weed killer at least once a year if not more often. With the elements (rain, snow, etc.) the weed killer gets absorbed, washed away. Maybe mark your calendar and repeat every few months until you get the weeds under control and then you may be able to go nearly a year before regrowth of them begins. Good Luck. Not much is forever!
was a heavy professional landscape fabric used. They white vinegar and water 50,50 a dab of salt and a dab of soap
Use a decorative box that matches your decor, but holes for wires in the back. I did this and you don't know your cable boxes are there. Good luck!
Cover it with salt.
Pour boiling water on the weeds. It kills the roots and won't cost you anything.
