Chinese evergreen (Aglaonema) is great. Years ago, I was working in a grocery store flower shop while going to school taking computer and internet science; and (very rare for us) Hurricane Hugo hit our area and knocked out power for over a week. Had a huge Chinese Evergreen that was situated in the produce area in complete darkness for all that time, and it actually thrived and grew! If you'd like something you can hang up, pothos can't be beat; have about 10 of them now and they have grown so much in length, have to coil some of the ends around to keep off floor. Snake plant is good too. There are a lot of good suggestions on here, but these are 3 of the best and easiest (and hardest to kill!). Won't bore you with care instructions, just look up on internet; but believe me they are super easy and tolerant of lack of care.
pothos or devils ivy, no direct sunlight and are drought tolerant, climbing vines that likes its roots bound together so no replanting every year. very easy to care for.
Philodendron are great for low light indoor, also some fica, some rubber plants, some peace lilies. The easiest way to find what you want is to visit the nursery where you plan to buy them. In each plant pot will be a name tag for the plant and on the front or back it will show if it is low light or if it needs a lot of sunlight. You can find what you like after finding the low light labels.
