Organize towels in cupboard

I like to roll towels for storage.

We roll them also. They take up less room that way

The best way is by size, and to fold them the same way. Both my parents were in the navy..you take the towel and fold it in 3rds hold the middle with your chin and fold the wings over. Then fold top to bottom And fold one more. You can roll it up with a wash cloth if you want to. Or just leave it folded. once folded, stack by size. That’s the navy method...you can fold them how ever they fit best in the closet.

I keep my towel in a cupboard under my sink. Is this the type you have in your mind? If so, here's what I do. I keep bath towels, hand towels & wash cloths in separate piles. I fold my bath towels first in thirds the long way, then in half and half again. With this folding method, I can have 2 piles of bath towels on one side of the cupboard. I fold the hand towels in a similar way but with only 1 half fold. I put a shelf on the other side of the cupboard and put the folded hand towels on the bottom of the cupboard, then the wash cloths on the shelf. I'm not sure of the exact measurement of the cupboard, but my guess is around 24". I hope that helps. Wishing you the best.

I have a space problem too! I have far more towels than my vanity and linen closet can hold!

1. Purge your non-essential linens.
2. Sort and organize your linens by category.
3. Use boxes, bins, and baskets to store and separate your linens.
4. Don't forget about fabric bags, zippered plastic pouches, and space-saving bags.
5. Store sets of sheets in corresponding pillowcases.

Label your linens.

I hung an old cupboard on the wall and roll my towels and keep them on the shelves. Rolling them takes up little room, and they can easily fit into a basket, also.
