yes after any danger of frost has past, dig a hole twice the size width and depth of the pot and place the entire plant with the foliage attached in the hole, fill in the soil

    Hi Rita,

Yes you can plant Easter Tulips, just keep them watered and living until it is your best planting time and then put them in the ground. They will look as if they died once they're in, but will bloom again in the spring!

Yes. Wait until the foliage has turned brown and fallen off the bulbs. Clean any soil off the bulbs and put them in a net bag or newspaper somewhere safe from rodents. In the fall, plant them about 4 to 5 inches deep, with plenty of space (about 5 inches) between the bulbs. Mark the area clearly so that you don't accidentally dig in the area. Tulips require a long period of cold weather (about 15 weeks) to store nutrients for blooming in the spring. If you live in a warm area, tulips just don't do well.

You can keep the bulbs in a cool, dark, dry place until fall. Then plant them. They will bloom next spring.
