Do you have a bench or couple of chairs? What I did was made a area put a bench off to the side. Added a few perennials. I also have done a area with a large sitting rock outlined with small rocks. Added a rose of sharon tree, iris, lavender. Very nice area

On foot Pavers are often on sale at Home depot for $1 each. Clear mulch with a rake from an area, level the area for the pavers with a small shovel. Snug them together and push the mulch back.
