Can you put wanescoting over a mirrored wall

I just bought a house that has a full mirrored wall in the living room. It's a bit too much. So I was thinking of covering the bottom half.

How would you attach the wainscotting to the mirrored wall? You would have to glue it...and what would happen later if you want to remove it? It would be a scary mess!! I think it would be better to remove the mirrors all together and then add your wall treatment.
You can using, construction adhesive to glue the wainscoting to the mirror.
I definitely tie,y would do it. Use a glue that will adhere to mirrors such as Loctite Mirror and Granite glue.
