Why are the plugs mid-wall? If this was installed for a flat screen TV, I've put the TV over the plug and then the cord doesn't show.
Cord covers! You can paint to match wall color so they disappear.

if it really is that high (tv height), buy a shadow box frame frim Michaels, etc. punch the back in a bit and use as a regular picture frame. Please use in a cluster of photos so that it makes aesthetic sense.
Plots of companies make wire covers to contain wires. They can be painted to match the wall. Considered “cable management”.
You can hang a picture, cork board or white board over the outlet and if it is in use affix the cords to the wall and camouflage them with fake or fabric flowers, grass, leaves, etc.
Paint the cords the wall color.
