Can a yellow colored stain on my vinyl bathroom floor be removed?

This was probably caused by putting a throw rug with backing on a damp floor. I didn't realize it was there until the sunshine shown through the sky light.

Rubber against vinyl has a tendency to do this. You can try a mixture of baking powder and water making a paste and let it sit for an hour may help lift the color. Good luck.
Some yellowing of vinyl is permanent, but I've had success lifting tough dirt on vinyl with a floor steamer.

Sometimes a Magic Eraser can help a little bit, but it may remove the shine. Yellow stained vinyl is usually permanent, as I have discovered. :(
