If you have extra tile it is easy to replace the broken pieces. If not find ones the same size and put them in place and paint them all to match with poly to preserve them.
Use a grout remover tool (in the tile section of home improvement stores) then pop each tile out with a scraper or mini cat claw
I had cracked tiles in bathrooms. I used the floating waterproof vinyl wood look planks. It is very easy and not near as costly as re-tiling. Available at Home Depot I used it throughout my house in a light oak color. Everyone comments that they love my new wood flooring.
If you have a few you could probably remove the damaged ones and insert one of a different pattern or color. If the pattern does not work out by removing only the broken ones then remove those that will make it work for you.
