Hello! For the best countertop protection, use the type of polyurethane used for floors. Instructions on the container must be followed to the letter to eliminate bubbling. Perhaps the info at the link below will help. Click on it and view.

That;s too bad it happened. If you shake the can vigorously, it can cause thousands of tiny bubbles to appear. These can be transferred to the surface with a brush or sponge and appear. Even if you don't shake the can or jar, just using a brush or foam applicator can still cause bubbles just by either. It is probably not very noticeable except to you!
Maybe try using a heat gun
