Unless you need them, you can donate them for parts. I bought a microwave turntable in a thrift store. I donated my fridge shelves and drawers to Habitat, and they were really grateful, since people ask for them all the time. Replacement parts for small and large appliances are really expensive, sometimes almost as much as the original appliance.
If you go that route, include the brand and model # info with it.
