If you are allowed to paint it, you could paint it a bright color to make it pop. Or you could use stick on decals, stick on wallpaper, etc. to add design or color.
If you are allowed to paint, you could paint faux door trim on your doors. Of course, if you can actually use molding to do the job, that would look great too. Click on the link below to see how another Hometalk member used paint for faux trim. Wishing you the best.

How to Paint Faux Trim on Closet Doors
Hang a smallish, simple but pretty wreath over the window with Command hooks (top and bottom to keep it from flopping). Big enough that you still get some light (take your measurements with you). The round will also soften the rectangle of it all
Buy a colorful rug for in front of the door. Even an indoor/outdoor, because they tend to be a bit heavier and won’t shift as much.
The hall color is quite attractive - play that up.
You could paint the door -- PLUS the side walls & trim all in one single neutral medium tone. You could even make it look like a wooden door.
How about stained glass window film?
You could put a beautiful wreath with different colored flowers.if you don't care for that idea. They have all different sizes of letters, sayings, pretty flowers, plants, and anything you can think of in like a plastic, that stick easily, and peel off easy with no damage too doors or walls.i hope this helps.

You can paint it a bright color or cover it with a printed contact paper. Both can be reversed if you decide to move.
