I need help identifying this plant.

I got this as a get well gift back in Septembe. This is the only part that survived. I'm not sure what it is but I have the same thing growing out around my mobile home. It was there when I moved in. And is seems to thrive through the winter. Not as much as in the summer but it doesn't die away. Any help would be appreciated. Have A Happy Day.
