You should oil the inside surface of your boards before installing.
Hi Irene,
I agree with Joychevi. All of the concrete mold projects that I have seen recommend using oil, cooking spray or Vaseline on the inside to help the molds or boards release easily. Wishing you the best.
The person who used ice cream cartons to make forms for a walkway said they used oil; I presume even used motor oil could work.
