I don't know about the girl Rosemarie, but the herb rosemary should grow just about any where.
You can grow spices anywhere but you will need to put them in pots and follow the guidelines advised by Yavapai County Extension Cooperative. Just go to Google or Bing and type in "How to grow herbs in Arizona" and you will get some great advice, I know I did. Rick Allen

Water is the answer to growing herbs or anything, usually. I have seen rosemary grown as a hedge 4 ft. tall. It was very pretty and sure smelled good. That was in Central Texas in front of a fence around a parking lot. Really strange, but it worked.
We had a rosemary bush in Mesa and also in Prescott. Will grow just about anywhere with good light and water.
Why wouldn't it ? In a pot perhaps since you probably don't have ANY water, even tho it doens't need much.
