We bought ours and then built a larger covered framed coop around it.
My sister and her husband bought a large dog house. They fixed the roof with hinges on the roof so they could open one side to get out the eggs. They only had a half dozen hens so they put in 3 long dowel rods and boxes under the side of the roof that opened for the hens to nest. Of course the side that opens they also included a hinge and lock so neighbor kids could not get into it. Kids love to get into things.
