What to do with a kitchen with wood cabinets and green countertops

I would just Change Chairs and accessories to Lime green.
I agree you need color. You can start with something as simple as your rug.
I can’t tell by looking at them how easy it will be to completely reupholster chairs. They’re great looking chairs but too bland. To experiment with color, buy a bunch of solid dish towels of assorted colors (keep the receipt and tags on),
and drape them on the seat and back of the chairs. “Fit” them with some painters tape, and live with it for a day or two. You might even figure out a way to slip-cover them with some ties/cord or Velcro.
As for replacing the granite, I’d go with quartz. It’s cheaper, less fragile, and easier to maintain. Print out two copies of the kitchen photo in color and use a Sharpie to color the counters black, and some White-out (typo correction stuff) to make them white. I think the black would be really striking, and visually lengthen your wall since you have a dark piece of furniture under the window.
If you want to change cabinet color I’d do a white subway white Doce by Benjamin Moore and beene hardware and if down the road you want to redo tops maybe butcher block on island ad the other white and gray quartz or granite 🤔 I redid the bath in white gray still have tops to do and new flooting but sure brightened it up!
I agree with everyone! You need to lighten it up and throw some color in that baby! For some reason I can't post a link, but if line green isnt for you, purple would look great with the grey. Theres accent rugs, curtains, even a purple mixer!
If you want to change the floors you can go right over the blah tile with the new vinyl floating wood planks, there beautiful and water proof!
i love to help with stuff like this! It’s my passion. With such a big decision I would really like to see more pictures.
First of all... I LOVE your chairs. If you dont love them you could easily sell them. Recover them in a dark leather and boom. Gorgeous mid century modern
everyone and their dog is doing a white kitchen. So if you are planning to sell anytime soon then that is what I would recommend. HOWEVER if you are staying, then maybe consider some other beautiful options we are seeing this year.
And quartz is gorgeous. If you can find it cheaper than granite, tell me the supplier C.C. I’m doing my kitchen and that hasn’t been my experience.
investing in your home is such a huge commitment.... financially, emotionally, and time. Find some inspiration. Find some pictures that will drive your choices. so all of your choices come together.
if your want more advise feel free to message me
Those are some awesome ideas. I love the furniture but your right need to brighten up some things. Any other suggestions will be appreciated. I might leave the granite for a while. So white cabinets?
Concrete countertops, the molds are about $180 and you lay it out where it's going in your kitchen because there is no moving them once they dry . you pour your concrete mix and when it dries the mold is easily removed and reusable. You can make concrete any color and texture. Lots of how to videos on you tube. Best part is how thick you can make your countertops.
I‘m sick of white cabinets. Soon to be considered dated, I believe. They’re all over tv. Please consider black or charcoal base cabinet (or the darkest version of your backslash) and island.
Earlier I’d suggested printing out your photo and coloring the countertops. I wasn’t aware you wanted to change the cabinets. Go to Benjamin Moore’s “virtual room” site, upload your photos, and “paint“ to your hearts content. I’d add a photo of the full sightline of your island with the kitchen behind it as well.
Please not pure white.
Still love your chairs.
Trying the diamond..."Giani"... white ... that would look awesome with your gray
I think it's always great advice to work your way down, so floors would be last after the cabinets and counters.
