Aloe plants, hostas, box woods, shrubs, unimouse, nandinas... these are pretty low maintenance and they look great!

Vhayz42 My Mom only had white Spirea, I never knew they came in different colors until a few years ago!
She also had a Bottle Brush tree. Just received a photo from the renters on their farm. The garden looks so sparse from when she was alive but the older plants are doing well considering 2 guys are renting it. One of the photos shows her Bottle Brush, including it. It's on the left, in bloom, red, it dwarfs the patio fence! It's about 45 yrs old. She always loved it because it attracted Humming Birds. I'm surprised nurseries in your area don't carry it, unless it doesn't do well in you're area.
