The Dollar Tree carries a product called Totally Awesome Rust, Calcium and Lime remover. It works quite well and is only a buck:) Pour or spray it on, let it sit for about an hour and rinse well. That should do it.

The Totally Awesome Rust, Calcium and Lime remover should do it. Or, you can use WD-40. Spray the rusted surface with WD-40, enough to thoroughly soak the area. ... Spray another application of WD-40 on the surface and let it sit for five to 10 minutes. Use sandpaper to remove any remaining rust. Be sure to keep your tools dry after using. You can stick them in a pail with sand mixed with a bit of oil. The sand will scrape crud off and the oil should protect it from rusting.
