Hi Ann, Your question must have been cut off. Are you asking how to repurpose the picket fence? If so, you could take it apart and use the boards to create cute signs. Like "welcome". Or you could cut the fence down low and use it as a boarder. If this was not your intention, feel free to re-group and come back with your question.
Who owns the fence and whose property is it on? If it belongs to your neighbor they won’t be happy if you take it down.
I have so many ideas of how to finish this question but I’ll wait until you finish the question to answer...
IMHO, good fences make good neighbors but I'm not opposed to a gate.
