How do I secure a bookcase in a mobile home?

Currently living in a older mobile home and my bookcases are empty because I am afraid to fill them without securing them to the wall. but afraid to try securing them because walls are so thin!

You would have to know where your studs are usually 16" or sometimes 23" in older ones, use a stud finder or a magnet to find the stud. Mobile home studs are usually just 2" x 2" so you will need to buy a bookcase anchor/L bracket and screws no longer than 1 1/2" long for wall and shorter ones for top of bookcase.
