Cover the mirror with contact paper before beginning. Any type/style as this is just to keep it from splintering and becoming a safety hazard. The goal is to try and remove it whole, but unfortunately if the mirror is glued to the wall this rarely happens.
cover the mirror with painter’s tape and gently pry it around the edges until it pops off. Another person should be with you to hold it in case it falls all at once.
Tape the mirror in a crisscross fashion in case it breaks. Work a thin wire between the wall and mirror in an upper corner. Move the wire in a back and forth motion "sawing" your way down to the opposite lower corner.
Use gloves as the wire can easily cut your hands. And as mentioned above, have a helper to support the mirror.
