what has worked for me is to trace the frames on to craft paper. cut the frames out, label the subject , use a low tac painters tape to hold them on the wall. you can play with the arrangement until it suits your eye. treat the shelf and mirror the same as the pictures. saves on filling in little holes.
A gallery wall is not really one that includes a shelf and t.v. but only pictures (hence the word gallery) However you certainly can make a nice display out of any disparate number, size and style of items, but it would take some time and thinking about. The impression given by your picture of the wall is that you need some much larger pieces to ground the whole display. Maybe a longer unit for the t.v. and more items to hang around it.
For a grouped display you need to gather more items. Right now you have 3 unrelated items. The TV and the shelf read as contemporary, but the mirror is traditional. You have the interest of a rectangle, a diamond, and an oval of similar sizes. If your TV is going to remain on the stand then you need to bring your grouping down to include the TV. Space your larger pcs at different levels, fill in the areas around with smaller items like a clock, a framed print, a sign. You need to incorporate some black with your smaller pcs so they will relate to the TV and the shelf and you need to bring in gold to relate to the mirror. Shop your house for interesting items with interesting shapes. When grouping small thing keep them close to each other and display them in odd numbers, otherwise they will just be floating in a big space. If you want to further define the gathering, you can paint a section of the wall a different color, but make sure to bring the color down to include the TV.
Hi,
This should give you a nice grouping
