How do I get grass to grow where above ground pool was?
do I spray with weed killer first , dig ground up, what do you suggest
Section it off and reseed in phases. That way it will have a chance to become established before dogs, kids and people start using it again. My yard is tiny compared to most. I killed all mine off at once with vinegar, then tilled and reseeded half, let it become established, then did the other half.
Hi Tami, You'll need to do this in sections. You can get a 50 foot roll of fencing at Lowe's for around $25. You will have to wait until your newly planted grass is established, then move on to the next section. Or, confine your dogs to a smaller section of the yard until your grass is well established. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Garden-Zone-Actual-50-ft-x-2-ft-Green-PVC-Coated-Steel-Welded-Wire-Rolled-Fencing/1000367037
Good luck!
Years ago when there were 26 young children in my neighborhood, my grass took a real beating as we lived in the center of the block and every child played with my kids, sometimes several at a time. I finally bought the best playground grass available and planted it. I always had a very nice lawn after that, kids and all.
