    Learned that cedar trees and apple trees do not get along. we fought rust on the apple trees,until I read that the nearby cedar trees are the culprit. Also,earlier learned from my dad that our one apple tree never produced without another for cross pollination. Lost our big beautiful tree covered in blooms in recent tornado. roots are sprouting reddish, purple leaves. Tried to identify unsucessfully.
