Hi Gail. I take some string or twine and tie my plants up around the base. Some times I find bigger sticks or metal poles and put those just off to the side of the plant and then tie the string around the plant and then to the pole of stick.
If you have PVC pipe, conduit pipe, etc those will work. Handles from old tools like brooms, shovels would work also.
