Oh yes, you can iron it. I am assuming it is not a fine print like a lithograph, is it? Because a real lithograph would be responsive to water. I have not only ironed prints I have washed a lot of them too. I am in the process now of framing a lot of book prints. This is one of the best ways I know to get art for your home. These are old yachts, from a book of photographs of yachts, inc. interiors. Have a lot more to do. Got the book for free. BTW if you look at a print with a loupe or even sometimes a high definition magnifying glass and you see little dots, that is a print that is safe to wash, iron etc. If you see lines, then that is a fine print, like a lithograph. I was getting ready to frame a print thinking it was not a good one when my husband told me it was a lithograph. I only paid a dollar for it but Ebay has the same print for $75
Ahh thank you so much. It does tend to have random dots so I assume it will be ok then. It belonged a late neighbour so is quite old and his grandson wants to frame it. Hence I offered to iron it but then thought it might lift. I shall use a dry iron. Thank you again
