I'm pretty sure it can be. It is already cooked. It is like tuna. But the can should say.
Canned salmon is already cooked - just drain the liquids, and it's ready to eat or add to your favorite dish. You can remove the skin if you like. Don't throw out the soft, calcium-rich bones! Mash them with a fork and you won't even notice them.
Have you ever tried salmon patties, delicious! Can probably find a recipe on allrecipes.com
Yes, it's fully cooked.
Chop it up well, add one egg and some flour to give it a thick consistency and drop large spoonfuls in a pan with some oil in it. I've never eaten it straight from the can, but love fried salmon cakes. Easy to make.
