it depends on the fabric content...hydrogen peroxide has a limited time the bleaching effect will work.......for lightening something you must be watching it so it doesnt bleach the color unevenly .....and if it does work make sure you rinse the jacket in cold water to stop the effects of any leftover hydrogen peroxide
Hydrogen peroxide will bleach out anything it comes into contact with. Use carefully.
