I would let it dry for quite a while before you do anything with it. I like the idea of the fencing. You could use rope or some durable twine to hold them together in sections. Or use something more durable and cover that with a more decorative rope or twine. You could make them into picture frames for both indoor and outdoor use.

Fencing, trellis, Plant stakes. You could lash them together horizontally and use them as a privacy curtain. They also make great fishing poles. Used them as a kid
Planters - Garden Arch - Arbor - Tea house - Bar - Tiki Hut - Raft - Pergola etc.
If you have any kind of fence but want more privacy, dig a narrow trench 6” away from the fence. Turn the cane poles upside down and place them in the trench, about 6” apart. Tie each pole to the fence with bandana or pantyhose strips. That’s 12 canes x 3”= 36” , plus 12 x 6” apart =72”. That’s 108” or 9’ covered by the cane poles. Perhaps the cane will produce leaves to add to the privacy, but it’s hard to look through two fences without putting your face really close to the fence. You can grow vines that will produce tomatoes, beans, cucumber, gourds, flowers, etc., on the poles, covering more vertical area and giving you extra benefits, too. ☺️

Bamboo is a most interesting, fast growing plant. Did you know there are over 1000 species of bamboo. Some grow so strong they are used as scaffolding for high rise buildings in Hong Kong? You can make most anything you can think of out of bamboo, including a kind of yarn used in knitting today. Bamboo furniture was very popular a few years ago.
