Best thing to use to remove tape residue from vinyl window frames?
Nothing seems to help bring the dried tape residue off. I put plastic on windows, since windows seem to leak in cold air. They are good windows, but not installed properly. Thanks, MJ

- Sharonon Jun 4, 2018I frequently use spray cooking oil on tape residue and use one of those round plastic scrubbies to remove the goop. Buy it at the Dollar Tree cheap. It may take more than 1 application.HelpfulReply

- Williamon Jun 5, 2018Put Goo Gone on the tape residue. Let is set for a while. Then use something plastic like a credit credit card to scrape it off. Wipe off the glue with more Goo Gone. Do not use any solvents on it. Can dissolve/melt the plastic.HelpfulReply
