I use roundup!! Kills them everytime
Pour pure vinegar and salt over the cracks. Takea1 gallon of vinegar and add 1/2 to 1 cup salt.
white vinegar and water 50/50 a dab of dish sopa and a dab of salt in a spray bottle
Vinegar alone will work and not harm the environment. The salt goes through the soil when it is raining or area is watered. It gets into the ground water and then goes to the streams, rivers and lakes and increases the salinity of the water. Some cities are even seeing increased salinity in the drinking water and they have no way of taking it out.
we spray with a home remedy of 1 gallon white vinegar, 2 cups epsom salts, 1/3 cup dawn dish soap (blue kind) and spray when all dew is gone early in a.m. By eve, it will be dead. I also weed eat the plant down before I start, helps more to soak into the roots.
Hi Gilda, Salt will kill the weeds. Some people pour hot water on after adding the salt. That will help the roots of the weeds receive the salt faster. Another alternative is to pour some undiluted vinegar into a spritz bottle and spritz the weeds. Both methods are effective and inexpensive. Best of luck to you.
Pour boiling water over the grass. It kills the roots.
