dig it out or smother it out with newspaper and card board
Easiest is to smother with newspaper, cardboard or landscape fabric then cover with mulch.
Good luck with that , I have the same problem. I use pound in edging and plastic where ever I can . I also have it coming up in my roses, what a pain. I pull and I pull that's all I can do.
