I'm with you on that. I've resorted to those soft squeeze tubes just a couple ounces larger than a tube of tooth paste.

    Squeeze tube caulk.

You can buy waterproof silicone caulk in a squeeze tube at Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes and places like Amazon online. I personally have never had great strength in my hands and caulk guns have never worked for me. If you have a large area to caulk you may have to purchase more than one tube, but it is easy to squeeze and should work for you. Keep in mind there are several different kinds of caulk used for different purposes, so make sure you get the kind that will work for your purpose. Ask at the store for someone to help you find the right one.

You can hire someone to do the chores around your place. A handy person would work just fine. Make a list of things to be done and let them work from that.

You can purchase a battery operated caulking gun. These guns are easy to operate because all you have to do is pull, and hold the trigger. The only drawback is that they ar somewhat expensive.
  • Check this out, you just push on the nozzle like a whipped cream can, and it's easy to find and inexpensive
