With nail polish remover
Wow, there must be tons of sloppy teens out there judging from the number of replies Google turned up. I like this one, except try non-acetone nail polish remover first. I melted my mother's😲 laminate kitchen table (and my nylon bathrobe) and she NEVER let me forget it! (The table. She didn't care about my silky soft embroidered pink robe I'd got for Christmas. 😕 ) Their answer: "If the polish has hardened, try softening it by dabbing it with rubbing alcohol, using a cotton swab. If that doesn't work, try mineral spirits. If you still don't have any luck, use nail polish remover or acetone. Dab carefully to avoid getting solvent on the floor finish, and wipe as soon as the polish softens." If all alse fails, or you are wisely reluctant to just try these ideas, contact the manufacturer for the best recommended course of action. Good luck and share your results with us. We're always good for a "Hurrah!" or a soft shoulder to cry on.
