Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
How about the good old hair product called "No More Tangles". It used to work on my daughter's long hair. Not sure if they still make it but there must be simiair products available that would work on the horse's tail and mane.
There is a product line called Mane 'n Tail which has shampoos and conditioners and also a detangler. We used them on our horses and they worked beautifully. Bonus: they can be used on your hair too. You can buy it online, or is probably at your feed store.
I found that baby oil was the best way to get those nasty knots out of tails and manes
Cowboy Magic Detangler is the best I've found and I do lots of horses.
I happen to have Suave Kids Purely Fun Detangler next to me, for my granddaughters’ long hair. This stuff is miraculous on tangled curly, straight, wet or dry hair! If that is too expensive, I would think the cheapest hair conditioner mixed half and half with water, and kept in a strong squirt bottle, ought to work just as well. I said the cheapest because it will have fewer things added to it like color, fruit, and hair strengtheners, which your horse doesn’t need. Best wishes! ☺️
