Put down Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth. As the ants walk through it, they will carry it back inside the ant hill and kill the queen.
I use salt.
They do not like cinnamon.
I used Jiffy Corn meal mix, sprinkled along their entry path into my home! They took it into their nest, leaving the sugar in the mix. Once they eat it, it expands and kills them! It worked!! Between the mix and a spray made of vinegar, salt and blue Dawn dish soap, ( I used it on the varmints that made it in the house),I , knock on wood, have seen NO ants for days now!! Warning though, sweep up the sugar after they have carried off the cornmeal! That is an invitation to come back and have dinner again!!
Yes. Thanks for help
